Two years after unveiling its Smart City vision, Alteo Property has launched Phase 2 of La Ravine, a residential quarter within Anahita Beau Champ in eastern Mauritius. This latest development demonstrates how industrial heritage can be transformed into contemporary sustainable urbanism, offering international investors a unique opportunity in the Indian Ocean property market.

Following the successful sale of 75 units in Phase 1, the new collection introduces apartments, penthouses, and debut duplex residences distributed across three architecturally distinct buildings: Molasses, Valley, and Woodland. These structures integrate harmoniously with the surrounding landscape near the Jardins de Beau Champ, spanning 118 hectares of verdant terrain.

"This isn't merely a residential project, it's a successful reconversion of industrial heritage into a sustainable urban model where nature, habitat, and local economy coexist," explains David Martial, Chief Executive Officer of Alteo Property. The development preserves and rehabilitates buildings from the former sugar mill, conferring authentic character while establishing a forward-thinking community.

Designed by architect Bérengère Croidieu, residences range from 145 to 299 square meters, featuring contemporary interiors with open-plan layouts. The exclusive duplex collection, positioned near the Zeste lifestyle center, includes private landscaped gardens and pools measuring 180 to 197 square meters. Architectural elements; perforated woodwork, exposed metal structures, and characteristic tropical roofing, pay homage to the site's industrial past.

Infrastructure development progresses rapidly, with first deliveries scheduled for 2027. Upcoming amenities include expanded Clavis school facilities opening in January 2026, a medical center, a 2,000-square-meter sports complex, and new office spaces including Alteo Group headquarters. This integrated approach realizes Alteo's vision of making Mauritius's east coast "an everlasting place to grow".
