Four Seasons Mauritius Reopens After Major Renovation

Editorial September 25, 2025

Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita will welcome guests back on 1 November 2025 following an extensive seven-month renovation project. The resort, nestled on Mauritius's lush east coast between Bambou Mountain and a turquoise lagoon, has undergone a complete transformation.

Redesigned Villas and Residences

London-based design firm 1508 London has reimagined all villas and private residence rentals. The new designs incorporate light-toned materials, textured fabrics and vibrant accents drawn from Mauritius's natural and cultural diversity. Each space now feels like a "living canvas" that seamlessly blends interior and exterior spaces with tranquillity and elegance.

The renovation brings the colours and textures of Mauritian nature into the upgraded villas and facilities. Every space has been carefully crafted to connect more deeply with the island's beauty and spirit. The transformation creates a stronger connection to the natural surroundings.

“We’ve created an experience that is as inspiring as it is dreamy. With sustainability at the heart of what we do, every detail reflects our commitment to preserving this incredible destination we are fortunate to call our home and bring our guests closer to nature and everything that inspires us,” says Martin Dell, the General Manager.

New Dining Experiences

The resort introduces a vibrant dining scene designed by Elastic. Seven distinct venues offer varied culinary journeys. Angara serves authentic Indian tandoori cooking with modern twists. Awase combines Japanese omakase precision with pan-Asian flair. Radici brings the rustic charm of an Italian trattoria. Chaloupe offers Mediterranean dishes inspired by the French Riviera. Ti Pwason specialises in fresh seafood with feet in the sand dining. Blu'Zil serves locally inspired sundowners, while the intimate Rum Library explores local blends.

Oseyan Spa Transformation

The newly renovated overwater Oseyan Spa perches above the lagoon. The expanded facility offers immersive wellness journeys blending global therapies with local traditions. The new oceanfront Royal Spa Suite features a steam room, handcrafted stone tub, and relaxation area with sweeping views of mangroves and the lagoon.

Sustainability and Golf

The resort maintains strong environmental commitments through initiatives including a seagrass meadow nursery, seahorse conservation programme, and mangrove honey production supporting bee preservation.

Golf enthusiasts benefit from daily complimentary rounds on two championship courses: the Ernie Els-designed oceanfront layout at Anahita Golf Club or Bernhard Langer's signature course on Île aux Cerfs.
